Return to Shillong

Day 3 : Day 3: Shillong – Mawlynnong & Dawki – Shillong

Early morning drive to:
Mawlynnong – Asia’s cleanest village
Visit Living Root Bridge
View the Balancing Rock
Proceed to Dawki
Enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River
Visit the India-Bangladesh border at Tamabil
Return to Shillong by evening

Day 4 : Day 4: Shillong – Guwahati Sightseeing (100 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati
En route, optionally visit Don Bosco Museum (if time permits)
In Guwahati, visit:
Kamakhya Temple – one of the holiest Shakti Peethas
Umananda Temple (on an island in the Brahmaputra – ferry ride required)
